A joint project with Ben Lamason and Li Zuo Guo.
This installation re-interprets a fernery as part monument and part laboratory, paying homage to the success of digital post-production in New Zealand film.

'The garden featured three 3-5m tall tower shells, providing sterile background for the fern fronds, akin to a blank digital canvas. Now-extinct desktop monitors equipped with steel armature prowl the surrounds, presenting an animation of a digital fern constantly generating and mutating.'
